SEO for Small Businesses: How to Compete with Big Brands Online

Hello and Welcome Back to another one of my blogs.😛

This week we are looking at SEO for Small Businesses and how this can help them compete with big brands online.

Online marketing techniques can be very expensive💸 for small businesses. A technique which will allow a small business to stay competitive and have low costs is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

So what is SEO, I hear you ask👂. SEO is a technique that improves a business’s visibility online. The main aim is for your website 🕸to appear as close as possible to the top of a search page. If a small business can manage their SEO effectively, they improve their chances of being seen and more people accessing their website.

SEO can have many benefits ➕for a small business. These include:

·       Increased web traffic

·       Better online visibility

·       Improved user experience

·       Competitive advantage

·       Targeted marketing

A small business can improve 🠅their SEO ranking in many ways. A few ways they can do this are by making a website of high quality – make sure it is clear and easy to use, set up google analytics and google search console to help measure the traffic, set up a google business profile, do a basic keyword search to identify words and phrases that are relevant to their business, create relative and high-quality content and measure and track SEO data. By incorporating these strategies, a small business can optimise their SEO and be more competitive with the bigger businesses online.

It is worthwhile for a small business to invest in their SEO. It will allow their business to be competitive with the big brands, it is low costing💰, and it will reach the right target audience✅.

Is the South East of Ireland a good place to invest for a tech firm?

What do you think, Yes or No. Read on to find out if you are right. Hello everyone and Welcome back to my blog.😀 Today we are looking at whether the southeast of Ireland is a good place for tech companies to invest in. The southeast of Ireland is becoming a very attractive place for tech companies to invest in and is currently the home of many established tech companies such as Datapac, Innovate, Sonru, Netwatch, Redhat and TSSG. Below are some reasons why these firms decided to invest in the Southeast of Ireland. Reason Number One: Ireland’s Southeast has the fastest growing economy in Europe. According to ISEDO the Southeast of Ireland was ranked first as the most competitive region in Ireland. The CSO also named the location as Number one in productivity growth in Ireland from 2010 to 2017. Reason Number Two: The southeast has cheaper financial costs💸 for a company compared to Dublin. This means a tech company can have more money to be flexible with and in turn he...

Cybersecurity for Small Businesses

Hello everyone!👋 Welcome back to my eight & final blog.😆   Today, we are going to explore the area of cybersecurity👮 for small businesses.   Cybersecurity is the process of reducing the risk of a cyber-attack. Its main function is to protect the devices, services and hard drives that organisations use from theft, damage or viruses. Keeping a small business protected from cyber-attacks is very important. A cyber security incident can have many negative impacts for a business. These include data breaches, loss of clients, lost productivity, brand reputation and many more. Here are some cybersecurity tips for a small business:💡 1.       Train employees in the area of cybersecurity. ...
